Lucie Lapointe was born in 1956 in Jonquière, Quebec. A self-taught artist, she also attended painting workshops under Marcel Fecteau and Jean-Paul Lapointe, and over the last several years, she has taken part in many group or solo exhibitions.

Using oil or acrylic, she loves to paint children playing, using bright colours to give as much life as possible to her paintings. In doing so, she wants to make us nostalgic for the precious memories of our own childhood.

Lucie Lapointe’s paintings are now found in many private or corporate collections in Quebec, Canada and abroad.
