Armand Côté
Armand Côté was born in Saint-Sylvestre, Quebec. A self-taught artist since 1974, he is also a graphic illustrator by profession. After having graduated in Graphic Communication from "Studio 437" in Quebec City in 1972, he completed his studies in Visual Arts at Laval University, Quebec in 1974. In 1978, he was subsidized by the Quebec Ministry of Cultural Affaires and in the same year, won the first prize of "La porte est ouverte aux artistes" which was organized by Desjardin Caisses populaires and Credit unions. Today, Armand Côté exhibits in fine galleries across Canada and his paintings are found in numerous private and corporate collections in Canada and abroad.
