Sculptor and contemporary painter, this artist from Cote de Beaupre has been working full time for several years on her creation. After receiving her Art Degree at Laval’s University, she received three government grants in order to perfect her technique characterized by relief. Anik aims to share her worldview with sculptured painting that incorporates urban elongated characters with polished or rough stone head. Organic expression, texture, movement and strong colors are the guiding principle of her current approach. Couple, family and individuals in love or paradoxically in their loneliness are the inspiration for her recent production.
